Amazon Web Services is looking for 40% growth even with high competition among cloud vendors.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a household name for cloud technology. The last two years in the coronavirus, cloud business was crucial for many others to survive. Competing with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and plenty more, Azure has grown its business tenfold. Even though big names such as Microsoft Azure is less than half the valuation of AWS, they are competing hard. Several outages caused panic among customers as they are enterprise-level businesses themselves. Even though all that, the company is predicting 40 per cent growth this year alone.
Europe launching multi-billion-euro tech fund – France
A multi-billion-euro tech fund is assigned to boost Europe’s tech sector. The competition to lead globally is given yet another boost by the new investment fund. To compete with the US and Asian Rivals, France’s finance minister on Monday declared funding. The joint declaration for a European pan scale-up initiative is given here. Global advertising growth forecast: Google and Meta dominating the market

GDPR Analytics: European data regulators issuing €1.1 billion in fines
The European regulators issuing €1.1 billion (£920 million) in GDPR fines last year was almost 575 per cent up. Within the GDPR fined list, the UK ranks sixth. British Airways alone was fined £20 million. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) shares reports and international law firm DLA Piper published them. DLA Piper said an increase of 8 per cent of GDPR breaches took place year-over-year. In 2021, 365 notices were recorded each day in the GDPR breach.
